In 2004, the delapidated estate of Easton Neston, Hawksmoors only country house and a rare example of the english baroque style was purchased from the beleagured Fermor/Hesketh family
by Leon Max, a Russian fashion designer and retailer. Mr Max has spent the last 7 years restoring the house and grounds to it's former glory, to use as a base for launching
the European arm of his already massive fashion empire.
Restoration complete and MaxStudio.com's European HQ installed and running, a party was clearly in order. We were brought on
board by Satore studios, who had been commissioned to design the lighting and visual ambience for the party. Using the house itself as a screen, We needed to showcase both the estate and the means of
its restoration in a cinematic and stylish way.
We shot extensively at the house and grounds, using unique features as settings for a series of fashion shoots
showing dresses from the current Maxstudio collection, with a loose narrative of a summer muse caught in time within the estate.
This was edited into a 4 minute centre piece.
We also shot highlights from the collected works of art and details from the interior and grounds creating 34 minutes of animated looks, some of which were mapped to architectural
features of the house.
Digital Insanity also supplied the playback, projection systems and operation for the event
